Week of Sept. 23rd
Armt Scores from the test at the end of last year will be coming home with progress reports this year. Please be sure to look them over and see how your son/daughter is doing. Remember also that some students test really well and some don't. Those that tend to freeze during a test might need some special help before taking the ACT and SAT for college.
New York City-
Here We Come
It's that time again! Another Moody Jr. High expedition - this time to New York City! The first New York meeting will be Monday, September 30th at 6:00pm in the multipurpose room.
Washington, D. C. Trip
Everyone seemed to have a GREAT time on the Washington trip this year. Click here for photos. Along with famous buildings and monuments, Moody students even had a little snow to enjoy.
MJHS is now selling Chick-fil-A biscuits. Pre-order and pay on Wed. and pick up the orders on Thursday!
Library Sale starts Wednesday, Feb. 20th and ends March 4th. It's a cookie and chocolate sale with great prices. Look for the brochure and help the library and school with technology and book needs. No money has come from the state for libraries in over five years!

The mission of Moody Jr. High School is to ensure that high expectations are maintained for all students by providing quality instruction and involving parents and community so that all students graduate, become responsible, productive citizens and life-long learners.
Mrs. Taylor is a lifelong St. Clair County resident and a graduate of St. Clair County High School. She completed two Undergraduate degrees at U.A.B.: a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Secondary Education. Her Master's degree is from Alabama in Educational Leadership and her Educational Specialist degree is from U.A.B. in Educational Leadership.

Justin Burns, a graduate of Moody High School, Currently lives in St. Clair County with his wife Brandi Burns and their sons Hunter and Evan. He is a graduate of UAB with a Masters in History and a Masters in Educational Leadership.
