Mr. Etheredge graduated from Pell City High School. He moved on to the University of Alabama where he spent two years going to too many ball games and too few classes. This resulted in a letter from the University telling him to go away until he could do college the right way.  Mr. Etheredge spent the next four years as a United States Marine.  His time in the corps helped him to mature and to realize the value of a solid education.                                                       

    He eventually returned to 'Bama, earning Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Secondary Social Sciences. 

    Mr. Etheredge has taught for 12 years and is completing his 6th year at Moody. He has three kids: Shane (26), Brooks (21), and Aubrey (14). His hobbies include: shooting, playing guitar, reading, and visiting historic battlefields.
